Find the antidote to Plain Jane chain shopping at the expanded House of Passage and other divine downtown shops. From scarves and jewelry to upcycled furnishings and décor, browse the House of Passage's everchanging collection of merchandise. Known for stylishly decorated windows that change with the season, shoppers are excited to hear that the popular store has grown; now open down the street from the original is House of Passage 2.

Explore more unique Brooksville shopping with recent additions such as Swap n ShopGrab some lunch and house-roasted Mountaineer coffee while you wander streets anchored by the historic courthouse and browse eclectic merchants like Young & Company, Resale Gypsies, Easy Street Home Decor, Patricia's Boutique and Brookstone Wines.

Expand your shopping radius just a little bit and discover vintage glory in Transformed Treasures, adjacent to the stunning Native American inspired goods and jewelry at Peace Tree Trading Post. Slightly to the east is the quaint shopping village that includes the Wired Bird, Rogers Christmas House Village, Westover's Flowers and Gifts, as well as the Tilted Tea Cup Tea Room & Boutique. Sunday Farmers Market

It’s time to visit the Farmer’s Market! Beginning on Sunday March 25, Florida’s Adventure Coast farmers and agricultural producers offer their finest goods at the Brooksville Farmer’s Market. Experience farm-to-table bounty with fresh produce, meats and local seafood available in Brooksville every Sunday morning.

Brooksville Bike Rally and Cruise-In

On the third Sunday of every month (March through June and September through December), take a cruise on the back roads of Florida’s Adventure Coast and end your trip in downtown Brooksville to enjoy food and entertainment. Featuring live music, local restaurants, craft beer, classic car parking and motorcycle parking.

Friday Night Live

‘Friday Night Live’ is a new outdoor concert series in historic downtown Brooksville to be held at the Bandshell. Starting March 9, these events will feature live bands and food trucks on the second Friday of every month. The first band to play is Actual Bank Robbers, a pop-rock band based out of Tampa.

Orange Avenue Market

Spend the evening browsing the work of local artists, makers and small businesses during the next Orange Avenue Market in early May.  Downtown streets were closed off and the city block was transformed the evening of February 3rd for the first Orange Avenue Market. Organizers assure that the next event date will be announced on their facebook page soon.

Brooksville Blueberry Festival

April 28 is the date for the first Brooksville Blueberry Festival. Smaller in scale than its predecessor, the Brooksville Blueberry Festival bills itself as the “Best Little Festival in Florida.” Celebrating all things blueberry and local, this weekend family-friendly event will feature a variety of live music, food and entertainment.

Art in the Park

And, although not new, don’t miss Art in the Park, one of Southeast Tourism Society’s Top 20 Events. This stunning juried display of fine art occurs on March 10 and 11 at Brooksville’s Tom Varn Park. Now in its 34th year, nothing says Springtime more than a stroll among bright green leaf-dappled walkways bordered by artist exhibits.

Spring 2018 unveils delightful new reasons to visit downtown Brooksville. With new events and shopping options, this historic downtown warmly welcomes all to share its community spirit.
