Your Guides Are Ready To Welcome You to TreeUmph! Adventure Course, Brooksville!

The TreeUmph! team has been working hard to get everything prepared for the grand opening of TreeUmph! Adventure Course in Brooksville on December 9th, 2017. From designing and building the treetop courses, to training their new team, guides and managers are nailing down the last details and are ready to see everyone in the trees on Saturday!

We caught up with Director of Operations Jason Pitsas to get his thoughts on some of the new features at the park:

My favorite thing about being a part of the create team has been spending a few months with friends, who also happen to be coworkers. I’m proud of the product our team was able to create, and I can’t wait for a whole new generation of TreeUmph!-ers to enjoy it.”

TreeUmph! has also hired a team of over 25 guides to staff their new location on Cedar Lane. Most of them locals of Brooksville or surrounding areas, they have been trained and are excited for the first guests!

“Hi, my name is Jessica, and I’m a guide at TreeUmph! in Brooksville! I’m a Florida native and I love spending my time outdoors while doing anything adventurous, so being a guide at TreeUmph! is perfect for me. I’ve tried all the courses here, but the one thing I can’t do is the rock wall on Little Ninja. I know I’ll get it eventually though! It’s been really cool to contribute to the park; we’ve had a great time so far, and we’re not even open yet. I can’t wait for December 9th, I know the best is yet to come.”

Even staff orientation is an adventure at TreeUmph! The new guides wasted no time getting familiar with the over 130 treetop obstacles and ziplines, donning harnesses to swing through the trees on their first day on the job.

The new team of guides has also learned how to operate the park’s state-of-the-art CLiC-iT safety system.

“Safety is always our number one priority,” says owner Kathy Corr. “We spend an extensive amount of time making sure our guides understand our gear, the courses, and how to safely assist each guest at any point in their adventure.”
